US Inflation Continues to Cool

As I have been saying before, the inflation trend remains lower, cementing a quarter-point rate cut from the Federal Reserve when it meets next week. Falling gas prices have contributed a lot to bring overall inflation lower last month, dropping by 0.6% for the month and 10.3% annually. While inflation remains above the Federal Reserve's target 2% goal, recent months have seen some encouraging, if slower than preferred, improvement. Next wednesday Sept 18th is key, lets see if FED will lower rates by 0.25 or 0.5.
